Mitcho Goes Hamptons!
  • It’s amazing to think that when I first met Jamie he was having trouble finding a sponsor. Now 6 years later and 10 Molokai World Championships under his belt, Jamie is clearly defined as not only one of the elite Paddleboard racers of today, but has also cemented himself as a legendary waterman forever. It was while I was writing my book, The Athlete’s Plate: Real Food for High Performance, that I reached out to Jamie because I was inspired by his consecutive wins, 4 at the time, and wanted to talk about his nutritional program. Since then, I have been blessed to be able to contribute to his winning success through guidance on his daily and foundational nutrition as a platform for his racing plan.

Now I have the great pleasure in welcoming Jamie to East Hampton, New York and be able to team up with him for some amazing SUP Performance Clinics this week. These clinics were designed to be the most comprehensive experience a paddler can have in a single day by combining water skills and nutrition to improve performance. There is truly no other program like it with none other then the World’s best paddler! All abilities are welcome.

In addition, all of this will be kicked off with the East Coast Premiere of Decade of Dominance, which chronicles Jamie’s 10 years at the Molokai Race, at The Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York on July 11th. We will have two clinics over the weekend starting off on Friday July 13th with a Race Clinic and followed by a Surf Clinic on Sunday July 15th.
